Schirin Taraz-Breinholt
In current debates, there's a lot of talk about climate-friendly,
sustainable construction. This is something that has been practised
in Asia for many years – on the one hand, out of the necessity to
offer as many people as possible a liveable home in a dense city
environment, but also because it has been politically desired and
regulated by law. For 28 years, Singapore-based WOHA has focused on
designing integrated architectural and urban planning solutions to
address 21st century issues such as climate change, population
growth and rapidly increasing urbanisation.
Today in our podcast, we talk with Schirin Taraz-Breinholt from WOHA about what this involves in detail and where a simple rethink can have a big effect.

Geraldine Dohogne
Geraldine Dohogne can tell you a lot about what happens when each
project begins with thinking outside the box. She runs a global
interior design firm, with projects spanning the entire world -
from Vietnam to Namibia, and Belgium to Nepal. But no two details
are alike, because the designs are the result of a deep dive into
the local culture, searching for and finding old materials and
craft techniques, and linking nature and technology. Her journey
into interior design began through a chance encounter that led to
the discovery of her passion and intuition for designing spaces.
These include spaces that change other people's lives, but which
also stand for a harmony of inspiration and tradition.
How easily space can become an atmospheric place of power is what we will talk about today with Geraldine Dohogne in our podcast.
