The Scandinavian countries are a model for us in many ways, from
business to education. We find a design culture anchored in
society, where the size of the objects does not matter. Regardless
of whether it is a public space, a building, a piece of furniture
or a luminaire for example, there is a discussion about context,
appearance and also usability. The Scandinavians obviously have a
different "recipe" for perceiving their environment, but also for
designing it. In today’s podcast episode we talk about where that
comes from with our guest Julian Weyer from CF
Møller.

BIG gives form to the future – what an exciting and unlimited
statement. Did you know that “Formgiving” is the Danish word for
Design? It means to give form to that which has not yet been given
form. That´s what we talk about in today´s episode with Kai-Uwe
Bergmann, Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and
Partner at the Bjarke Ingels Group.

Architecture between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, sounds like a lot of
space and many challenges. What does that actually mean? What kind
of demands does a construction have between and in cooperation with
two such major cities?
We are very curious to learn more about the quality of China´s projects in today´s episode with Nan Wang, Managing Director of schneider+schumacher CN - Tianjin & Shenzhen.
